My mom visited me from wilmington. I wish I remembered who the server was it was around 12 pm my mom and step-dad ate there and the server was awesome. We were greeted at the don't door by management he was very welcoming so it was already off to a great start. My mom and I had the lunch fried oysters which were amazing My step dad had lunch fried shrimp. We were in a booth near the bar it was a younger blonde so I hope yall can figure out who she was and give her th credit she deserves. Also Dec 30th was the date

this is a winner and we eat here regularly! this is a SEAFOOD restaurant. please be clear about that. the seafood is always very fresh and they are next to wrightsville beach. great lunch bargains especially their 10 oz flounder fillet for $12.99 w/ two sides. also hushpuppies. the wait- resses are really nice and friendly and we overtip them. we always go for lunch. this is a winner. they know how to cook here.

great service and wonderful food! highly recommend. Went for my birthday and was offered a dessert by my waitress to celebrate. Best Bloody Mary I've had in a while. Definitely will go back

Food was great, service was even better - Colleen was a wonderful server - cordial, efficient and attentive. Would definitely visit again!

Service - friendly and quick. Ambience is like a mom and pop diner with a twist it felt very "beachy" and it's visible it's a family favorite for a nice easy dinner night as it was very full. Based on the size and flavor it's understandable why it's a popular place. I could've easily shared mine with my daughter and another adult. Delicious and filling and well served. The soup was good also. Prices are great! They have great deals for the day which I hear sell out quick before diner time and deals for bottles of wine! We have a Riesling bottle for $15.

I'm a huge fan of the fried seafood found at the NC and SC coast so before we departed Wilmington I had to stop somewhere and pick some up. We found the Boathouse after a little searching and it seems like we found a real local gem. Most of the crowd appeared to be local which is a great indicator of the quality of this restaurant. The service was terrific and extremely friendly. The food was excellent, most importantly the hushpuppies which were amazing. I recommend getting at least one order of hushpuppies to accompany the one free order you get.

Boathouse Restaurant is a delightful discovery! Despite being around for a while, this was our first visit, and we were thoroughly impressed. Arriving to see a crowd outside, we knew we had found a local favorite. Despite a large party of 15 ahead of us, we were seated within 20 minutes. Our server, Logan, was exceptional. His customer service was unparalleled--thorough, fast, and attentive. Logan's commitment to ensuring a top-notch dining experience was evident throughout our meal. The food was awesome. I had the Flounder & Shrimp plate with mac & cheese and black-eyed peas--each bite was delicious. My wife had the broiled shrimp with a small salad and green beans was equally impressive. Every dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. This hidden gem has certainly earned a spot on our list of go-to restaurants. We're thrilled to have broken our routine to discover Boathouse Restaurant and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a fantastic meal in Wilmington. We'll definitely be back!

We came with our friends for lunch, we were for the first time and the server told us what was better to try, thanks to her. Everything was delicious and the food was cooked quickly, we liked everything. The place is beautiful and cozy

This nautical themed restaurant provides land and sea favorites. The waitress brought a complimentary basket of hushpuppies to table. Unfortunately, they were barely warm. Entrees ordered were shrimp & grits, fried shrimp, fried flounder, and kids chicken tenders & fries. Portions were generous--the filet of flounder was ginormous! We all ordered different sides--mac n cheese, fried okra, cukes & tomatoes, apples, and fresh fruit. The only complaint was the mac n cheese was a bit peppery. Great food, great service, and reasonably priced. Check them out if you're in the area!

Solid 4-star experience. Great fried seafood. Very family friendly environment. Super friendly staff (busy night & we got checked on frequently) & food came out quick & hot. Hubby said the fried platter was great, flounder & especially the fried oysters. The blackened fish is great as well. Actually used ranch to dip a little & it really enhanced the blackened seasoning (which was very good). Mango chutney was awful, it's pickled (maybe ok for some, but we did not like it). Fried green tomatoes were pretty good, bridgetender does these so much better. But they were ok. Ask for some of the chipotle mayo & ranch (mix them) and it was awesome with the FGT's. It was $60 before tip ($73 after) for 2 of us & no alcohol. Not super affordable but not outrageous.
